Port Vale FC are delighted to announce that Striker, Josh Thomas, has joined the Valiants on a season-long loan from Championship side, Swansea City.
The highly-rated youngster, 20, joins the Vale in his first loan deal away from the Swans since signing his first professional contract with the club in 2020.
The Welsh U21 international has impressed throughout Swansea City’s first team pre-season, most noticeably scoring a brace in a 5-0 win over League Two side, Swindon Town, deservedly garnering strong interest from a host of clubs at League One and League Two level.
Speaking of Thomas’ season-long loan, Port Vale FC Manager, Andy Crosby said:
"Josh is an exciting player who possess exceptional pace and movement. He also has an excellent goal scoring record to date in his career with Swansea's academy system.
"After speaking in length with him he knows what we’re expecting from him as a Vale player and he is more than ready for the challenge.
