The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an apprentice to join Port Vale Football club within our established Ticket Office & Club Shop. The position will involve delivering high quality customer service whilst developing knowledge of our industry, products, and services.
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking for their first professional role.
Full training will be provided
This position is an 18-month apprenticeship during which you will study towards a relevant qualification.
Main Responsibilities
- To sell with enthusiasm, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
- To process ticket sales and setting up game’s prices.
- To take responsibility for cash handling ensuring it is conducted accurately throughout the shift.
- To ensure you provide a consistently high level of care, and courtesy to customers at all times.
- Respond to customer enquiries face to face and over the phone appropriately and in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience in a customer-service role would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided, both on the job and through the local college.
Applicants must be IT literate and educated to at least Level 2, with GCSE passes in English and Maths, A positive and professional attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills, are essential to be able to perform well in this role.
