Come early

Tomorrow (Saturday, November 13) we welcome Bradford City to Vale Park for a Sky Bet League Two match. Due to the match being televised, the kick-off time is 12 noon and supporters are asked to arrive early.

Parking

Supporters are advised that there will be very limited pay on day parking available on club car parks at Synectics Solutions and this will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Season parking passes will be honoured.

When can I get inside the stadium?

Turnstiles open at 11am.

The Staffordshire University FanZone

Unfortunately, the FanZone is not in operation for this fixture. However, Tommy Cheadle’s is available for home fans only and refreshments will be available from the concourses and kiosks as normal. Away supporters can access refreshments from the concourse in the Hamil Road End.

Due to forward intelligence, Anti social behaviour, explosive and drugs detection dogs provided by Wagtail Event Detection Dogs will be employed at turnstiles.

If the dogs indicate traces of drugs, fireworks, flares, smoke bombs or other pyrotechnics, any individuals indicated will be removed from the turnstile queues and subjected to a thorough search.

If any drugs or pyros are found these individuals will be refused entry to the match and may be arrested and prosecuted.

In the event of any disorder, bars will not reopen at half time.

Remembrance service

Prior to kick-off in tomorrow’s televised Sky Bet League Two game against Bradford City a short Remembrance service will take place ahead of Remembrance Sunday (Nov 14).

We invite all supporters to take part in the service and ask that they be at their seats no later than 11.50am.

Timings for our Remembrance service are as follows:

11.52pm – Officials, players and our remembrance party assemble at the head of the tunnel

11.53pm – Referee leads players on to the field. Players will do their normal ‘pass-by’ of each other and then proceed to the centre circle and form up. At this point the Remembrance party will take to the field carrying wreaths and head to the far side of the centre circle, facing the Lorne Street stand. The two captains will lay wreaths either side of the centre spot followed by the Port Vale Chair and Bradford CEO Ryan Sparks laying their wreaths similarly around the centre spot. The Remembrance party will then return to join the officials.

11.55pm – Referee blows whistle and Last Post is sounded.

11.56pm – Port Vale Chaplain Reverend Ashley Cooper reads the Words of Remembrance and prompts the minute’s silence.

11.57pm – One minute’s silence.

11.58pm – Referee blows whistle to end ceremony and signal a round of applause from crowd. Remembrance party leaves the pitch.
