Speedie last officiated the Vale in a 2-1 win at home to Bradford City in April 2021, thanks to goals from Theo Robinson and Tom Conlon. In the 29 games he officiated last season, he has issued 76 yellow cards and five red cards, and has given 42 bookings and one red card so far this season.
His assistants will be Bradley Hall and Simon Shaw, with Andrew Henley on the role as fourth official.
