Following this week's blanket COVID-19 testing, we can confirm that of all the tests completed on Port Vale personnel, there has been one positive result returned.

Earlier this week all present first team squad players and red zone staff were tested, as part of the EFL's procedure to minimise the transmission of COVID-19 in football clubs across the country.

Out of the 46 tests, which were carried out at Vale Park, one result was returned as positive while the rest came back as negative.

The affected individual will complete the neccessary period of self isolation in line with the latest Government guidance.
