Port Vale has been corresponding with the EFL on behalf of supporters affected by issues with the iFollow streaming service before and during the Sky Bet League Two home fixture against Crawley Town.
The EFL has confirmed that there was an issue with the Promo Code redemption mechanism on iFollow on September 12.
An EFL spokesman has assured Port Vale that the issue ‘has been identified and it has been fixed for subsequent fixtures’.
A small number of supporters who had payment taken incorrectly when their codes did not work will receive a refund from EFL iFollow.
Other supporters for whom the Promo Code did not work will be offered a code for Port Vale’s next EFL Trophy fixture (versus Wigan Athletic – October 6).
Supporters affected by this issue should contact EFL iFollow via email or telephone (details below) and reference the code that did not work for them during the game against Crawley Town.
Port Vale has raised a number of other issues relating to problems with the streaming of the Port Vale versus Crawley game and is awaiting a response from EFL iFollow with regard to these problems.
Supporters who have or are experiencing problems with iFollow should contact EFL iFollow by telephone – 0207 8264577 (three hours before kick-off and running until three hours after matches finish) or by email – iFollow@efl.com (staffed from 8am to 7pm every day).
Port Vale would like to thank supporters for their patience and understanding during these unprecedented times where fans are not allowed in football stadia.
