The Valiants will be hoping to get a positive result at Whaddon Road against Cheltenham on Saturday, whilst maintaining their place in the play-offs and extending their unbeaten run to eight games. The match officials for this game have been confirmed and can be found below.
Scott Duncan will take charge of the game, which will be his first game of the season. He has been a regular official in the Championship for most of his career, but due to working circumstances, he will be making his first appearance of the season on Saturday.
He was due to take charge Stevenage’s League Two clash with Walsall at The Lamex Stadium last weekend until it was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Duncan last officiated a Vale game back in November 2016 when he took charge of the Valiants’ 0-0 League One draw at Shrewsbury.
His assistants will be Adam Crysell and Lee Venamore, with Scott Jackson taking up the role as fourth official.
