Port Vale Football Club pays tribute to Paul Nolan, who worked on the turnstiles at Vale Park for a number of years before the start of his illness.
Husband, father, brother, Vale fan! Paul was a family man who spent his life teaching and being there for others. He also spent his entire life supporting the Vale! On his days off he was either in the stands or working the stands!
Outside his immediate family he had his Vale family which was one and the same, except a rogue brother, sister and son who were at another unmentionable club across the city! But, ultimately, he was loyal, he was honest, he was VALE!
Paul was head of Economics at Blessed William Howard Catholic High School, based in Stafford. He lived locally in Newcastle-under-Lyme and had worked on the turnstiles at Vale for a number of years, but had to prematurely stop last season at the beginning of a long illness.
Port Vale Football Club extends our deepest condolences to Paul's friends and family at this difficult time.
