Port Vale Football Club is thrilled to announce that Staffordshire University has become its official back-of-shirt sponsor for the 2020-2021 season.
The two organisations recently celebrated their partnership when they announced their plan to enhance and develop community engagement and educational opportunities in the region.
Head of Development and Alumni Relations at Staffordshire University, Deb Sanderson, said: “I have managed our partnership with Port Vale Football Club for several years, but now more than ever I am excited about the possibilities our collaboration can deliver."
“I believe that by joining forces, we can make a huge positive impact on the lives of the people in our city and region. It’s about so much more than football; it’s about bringing communities together to raise aspirations and help people realise their true potential.”
Ritchie Bates, Head of Commercial at Port Vale, said: “I have had the privilege of working closely with Staffordshire University since I arrived at the club just before Christmas. I am therefore delighted that the relationship between the two continues to grow."
“After already announcing, earlier on in the week, that Staffs has become one of Port Vale’s Principal Partners, it is wonderful to now be announcing that the University will be featuring on the back of our kit’s shirts in the 20/21 season."
“It is great that Staffordshire University can see the potential here at Port Vale, and I am looking forward to watching this partnership flourish even further”.
