Port Vale will travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on the current FA Cup holders Manchester City in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Vale booked their place in the third round last weekend on the road at Cheltenham Town thanks to a Tom Pope hat-trick.
The Vale came from behind with an emphatic second-half performance to secure their place in the third round as Tom Pope bagged a seven minute hat-trick to pick up a 3-1 win.
The reward for their efforts is a trip to the home of the current Premier League champions Manchester City, who capped off a treble winning season last year when they beat Watford in the final of the FA Cup.
The Valiants last faced off against the Citizens on October 30th 1999 when they lost 2-1 at Vale Park in League Division One.
A confirmed date and ticket details for the fixture will be confirmed via our website and social media channels as soon as possible.
