We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Lee Nogan as Assistant Manager and Gary Brabin as First Team Coach.
Lee and Gary have joined Neil Aspin’s coaching staff following the departure of Chris Morgan and Ned Kelly earlier this week.
Nogan is a familiar face for Aspo, as the two have worked together for the last six years at Halifax Town and Gateshead.
The 48 year-old has joined Port Vale from The Heed, where he spent the last two years working alongside Aspin.
Lee also has had a successful playing career as a forward, accumulating just under 700 career appearances at the likes of Watford, Reading and Oxford United to name a few.
Elsewhere, new First Team Coach, Gary Brabin is no stranger to football management and coaching, having been a manager himself at Tranmere Rovers, Luton Town, Southport and Cambridge United.
Gary was a former midfielder during his playing career, representing the likes of Bury, Blackpool, Hull and Doncaster, amassing just under 500 appearances.
Brabin will bring a vast amount of experience with him to Port Vale, working alongside new gaffer, Neil Aspin, with almost 10 years of management under his belt.
So, make sure you get your tickets for Grimsby Town this weekend at Vale Park to show your support for the new coaching staff.
