We are delighted to confirm the signing of defender Scott Tanser on a deal until the end of the season.
The former Rochdale fullback had made nine appearances for the Dale so far this season, including the 1-0 defeat to Vale.
Scott began his career in the Youth Academy at Blackpool, before moving to the Burnley set-up and then eventually heading to Rochdale.
He has then risen through the ranks at Spotland, having been given his debut by Keith Hill at the age of just 19.
Tanser is a left back by trade and will help to add competition down the left hand side.
The 22 year-old will be available for selection for Caretaker Manager Michael Brown this weekend and becomes the fourth signing during the January Transfer Window.
Scott will wear the number 19 shirt for Vale.
