The EFL have confirmed who will be the match officials against Wycombe Wanderers this weekend at Vale Park.

Craig Hicks will be the man in the middle of Port Vale’s first home game of the season against Wycombe.

Last season, Hicks officiated in 25 National League games last season, awarding 70 yellow cards and six red cards.

It will be the first time Hicks has officiated in the Football League, following his promotion from Non-League.

He will be assisted by Richard Wild and Joe Simpson, while Nigel Smith will act as fourth official.
