DIRECTIONS:
Take the M6, M42, M5 to J 1a and take M25 (S) to M4/ M23. Merge onto M25 and continue to J7. There join M23 and continue to the end J11. Go right round the round about and take A23 to Crawley. At the next roundabout turn left, the ground isimmediately on the left.
WHERE TO PARK:
There is a stadium car park but it does take quite a while to empty after the game. There is also an overflow car parking the offices at Broadway Park, accessible from the A23. Otherwise it is off street parking.
OVERVIEW OF BROADFIELD STADIUM:
This is quite a new stadium (1997). It is dominated by the West Stand on one side which is covered, all seated and runs about two thirds the length of the pitch.
Both ends are virtually identical, being small covered terraces. The East stand was completed in 2012 with room for 2,145 fans with 12 rows of temporary seating.
WHERE THE VALIANTS WILL BE HOUSE:
Away fans are mainly in the KR-L North Stand, at one end of the ground – having accommodation for 1,600. A very small number of seats are also available in the West Stand, initially for the old and infirm.
WHERE TO GET A DRINK:
There is a bar situated at the back of the at the back of the Bruce Winfield Stand which allows in away fans. Otherwise via the underpass go straight across the round about into Southgate Ave. For the Half Moon take the first left into Brighton Road – the pub is on the right. It is a 5 minute walk from the ground.
WHERE TO EAT:
Interesting food is available inside the ground , including pies from the Real Pie Company, plus the normal burgers etc and even bacon rolls and chips!
