Earlier today, we were delighted to bring you the news that we had completed the signing of midfielder David Worrall.
The 27 year-old is no stranger to League Football and has racked up five promotions in his career, including with his last three clubs.
Worrall has now set the target of making that four promotions in his first season with Port Vale and he is looking forward to getting started.
He said: “I want to get promoted, I’ve got 5 promotions and my last three clubs I’ve played for I’ve been promoted in the first season so they’re little goals, I want promotion and I want to make it four in a row.
“I’m a winner and I’m like that in training, I want to win everything in training and I will want to win everything out there and you’ll see that on the pitch.”
David has been doing pre-season with Millwall throughout the summer, so there is no worry on his fitness levels.
Worrall has also featured in some games and is hoping to get straight into the Vale side and sees no better game than the weekend derby with Crewe.
“I’ve played a cup game for Millwall already, I felt good but I want to get playing regular, scoring goals and winning football games.
“I’m a fit lad naturally anyway and I’ve had a good pre-season with Millwall so I’ll be available for the derby game against Crewe and then hopefully I’m selected.
“I’ll throw myself about if I’m on the pitch and obviously we need to get another three points on the board and get moving up that table
“I run all day and I’ll throw my head and my feet in and will want to get into the box and score goals as well if I’m playing out wide I want to work hard.”
