We can today confirm that goalkeeper Ryan Boot has gone out on loan to Worcester City on an initial one month deal.

The 21 year-old had a spell with Worcester during the 2014-15 season, before being recalled when, then first choice Vale ‘keeper Chris Neal injured his wrist.

His impressive performances earned the custodian a new two-year contract in the summer of 2015.
