It was a busy Deadline Day at Vale Park last night, as two new faces completed deals to join Port Vale.
Goalkeeper Miguel Santos and winger Gezim Shalaj were the new faces to join Bruno Ribeiro’s side, in what was a busy summer.
Gezim joins from Switzerland and the left sided player will look to add competition to the flanks this season.
Having been training with the club for the past week, Shalaj spoke about his delight of signing for Vale.
He said: “I was very happy to finally put pen to paper because of this opportunity and when I heard about this opportunity I agreed immediately.
“I liked the idea of coming to England and joining this team and I’m very happy to sign.
“It was the new opportunity that made me want to play in England and I want to play in League One and do my best here and I also saw the team are doing very good at the moment.”
