A GLANCE BACK – GAME 32
Attendance 6,527 including 868 visiting supporters
League One
Saturday 9th January 2015
At Bloomfield Road
Blackpool 0 Port Vale 1
Ajay Leitch Smith netted the only goal of the game as Vale recorded back to back wins with a rare away win, roared on by a noisy following from Burslem at Bloomfield Road. It was no more than Rob Page’s men deserved for a battling display in match which they never looked second best as they carried on from positive displays at both Walsall and Coventry in late December. Although Vale didn’t get anything from those two games, despite deserving something, so it made a refreshing change to see Vale get what they fully deserved this time.
