Shrewsbury, who were bottom of the table before Saturday, earned all three points at Greenhous Meadow against Bristol Rovers. Louis Dodds scored his third in as many games and Ian Black also scored a penalty in the second half.

Gillingham carried on their unblemished home record against MK Dons due to a second half striker from Cody McDonald which saw Robbie Neilson to his first loss as Dons manager.
