In association with Jacks Convenience Store, Port Vale Foundation Trust is delighted to launch the Supporting the Supporter scheme.
The scheme, the brain child of the owner of Jacks Convenience Store and Vale Fan Chris Wardle, aims to give Vale supporters the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of Vale Park when their circumstances would not normally allow them to come and watch Bruno’s men in action.
Kev Sanders, Project Development Manger at the Foundation Trust stated “We are delighted to be launching and managing the supporting the supporter scheme, It’s a fantastic initiative that Chris has worked really hard to create and we believe will become a great success over the course of the season.
“We really hope it allows supporters who for whatever reason haven’t been able to make to make it to a game to see this new exciting era at the club both on and off the pitch.”
Chris Wardle, the man behind the idea said, “As an avid Valiant and from speaking to fans in my community, who can’t get to games for various reasons, really got me thinking of how football could be made accessible to all despite their circumstances.
“With the help of the Foundation I now hope more people will come back to the club”
The scheme will provide, through a nomination and application process, 21 supporters the opportunity to access 2 complementary tickets to any home game of their choice this season (21 games remaining) as the guests of the Foundation and Jacks Convenience Store.
Supporters are now actively encouraged to apply to be a part of this scheme. All you have to do is, in no more than 250 words, explain why you or your nominated person(s) would like to be considered for the tickets. All applications will then be passed to our judging panel to decide on the winning entries.
All applications should be sent by letter or email to the Port Vale Foundation Trust, marked “Supporting the Supporter” and sent to PVFC Foundation, Vale Park, Hamil Road, ST6 1AW or email foundation.trust@port-vale.co.uk
