Theo Robinson was delighted to etch his name into Port Vale’s record books by scoring the Club’s 6000th Football League goal.
The 27-year-old striker netted the opener in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Rochdale and in doing so he ensured the Valiants reached the landmark.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD following the game, Robinson was pleased with his contribution.
“I haven’t played for a while now so to it was good to get a start and get a goal,” he said.
“I’ve just heard upstairs [about the 6000th goal] so it’s quite a good landmark hopefully to leave a little stamp.”
