Port Vale forward Louis Dodds has been named in the Football League Paper’s Team of the Day.
The 29-year-old played a starring role in the Valiants’ 3-0 win over local rivals Crewe Alexandra at the weekend.
He scored twice and provided an assist as Rob Page’s side collected the three points and condemned the Railwaymen to relegation.
Dodds was named man-of-the-match for his efforts by match sponsors Staffordshire University.
