Match to take place on the main Vale Park pitch

Vale reserves take on Wrexham his afternoon in the Final Third Development League Cup, looking to book their place in the knock out stages of the competition.

Whatever the result this afternoon, they won’t be certain of going through until local rivals Stoke City play their final game just before Christmas.

Stoke's final fixture is against Wrexham, so Vale need win and to better Stoke’s result by two clear goals.
