“The first half performance, there was only one team in it, that was ourselves,” he said.

 

“We got the goal and it’s important that when you’re on top like that you go and get a second goal but we couldn’t get it.

 

“We knew we had to start fast in the second half, the crowd were on their back, there was only one team in it first half.

 

“We’re bitterly disappointed with the penalty, we talked at half time about decision making and limiting mistakes and we gave them a penalty and get Chris [Neal] sent off.

 

“Disappointing afternoon but we can’t dwell on it, we’ve got to dust ourselves down and work hard again.”
