Port Vale manager Rob Page felt poor decision-making cost his side dearly against Walsall.
Jordan Cook scored twice in the second half to ensure the Saddlers claimed the three points despite the game being a relatively even contest.
Page believed that both goals were preventable and was left frustrated with the choices his players made in key areas of the pitch.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD post-match, he said: “For me it was a nil-nil. Our decision-making in the box – we’ve got opportunities to clear for both goals really.
“Clear our lines, get us up the pitch, clear the danger, get out the box. We didn’t do it and you’re going to get punished if you don’t do that.”
