Half-back spent two seasons with the Vale in the 60s
We have just been informed of the death of former Vale wing-half Tim Rawlings, aged 81, on 28th September 2014.
Real name Charles John Rawlings, he was previously with West Brom and Walsall. He joined Vale from the Saddlers in June for a fee of £4,000 1963 and scored twice in 31 League games over two seasons at Vale Park.
He left the Vale in April 1965 and went on to join Nuneaton Borough and hometown club Coleshill.
His funeral is at Robin Hood Cemetery, Streetsbrook Road, Hall Green, West Midlands at 2.30pm on 14th October.
