Former Leicester City & Rangers Forward Dany N’Guessan Signs For Port Vale

Frenchman Joins Vale

Port Vale have completed the signing of Dany N’Guessan on a two-month contract.

The 27-year-old forward had been a free agent since his release by Swindon Town at the end of last season but has now put pen to paper on a deal with the Valiants, which will keep him at the club until 23 December.

Born in France, N’Guessan has previously played for the likes of Ligue 2 side Auxerre, Scottish giants Rangers and current Premier League outfit Leicester City.

He will be available for selection for Saturday’s League One fixture at home to Leyton Orient, kick-off 3pm.

Speaking of the signing of N’Guessan, Vale interim boss Rob Page said: “He has got pedigree behind him, he has proven he can score goals and hurt team at a higher level than us.

“When we’ve found out he was available, we’ve had him in training, looked at it and we’re pleased that we’ve got someone of his ability to strengthen our squad.”
