Achille Campion Delighted To Make Comeback From Injury

Vale Striker On His Return

Port Vale striker Achille Campion was delighted to make his comeback from injury in the reserves' 5-1 win over Wigan Athletic.

The 24-year-old looked sharp, scoring two goals and setting up another, in the Valiants’ thrashing of the Latics at Vale Park. Omar Haughton, Jonathan Kapend and Byron Moore completed the rout.

French forward Campion, currently on loan from Swedish side Norrby IF, had been out for around a month after getting injured against Chester in September.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player following the victory, he admitted it felt great to be back and praised the club’s medical staff for their hard work.

“Very good, very good, I’m glad I’m back,” he said.

“The physio did a great job so it’s all very positive and this is a good environment of practice and I’m happy to be back.”
