Rob Page: “We Will Look Back Over It And See Where We Can Improve”

Vale Boss On FA Cup Defeat To MK Dons

Port Vale manager Rob Page says he and his back room staff will use the footage of Saturday’s FA Cup defeat to MK Dons to improve his side’s organisation.

The Valiants went out of the knock-out competition in the first round following a 4-3 loss to Karl Robinson’s outfit at Vale Park.

Dany N’Guessan scored his first goal for the club, while two own goals added to Vale’s tally, but they weren’t enough to prevent the loss.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player, Page admitted he was disappointed but insists everything possible will be done to ensure his players learn from the defeat.

“There will be aspects of the game that we will address, we will look at again,” he said.

“The staff certainly will look back at the video and look back over it and see where we can improve and where we let ourselves down a little bit today.”
