This weekend Port Vale manager Micky Adams cycled from London to Amsterdam to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. He would like to thank everyone that donated.
“Thank you to everyone that helped me on my way, it was rewarding but I won’t be doing it again anytime soon. “
Micky led the pack on the Friday and kept near the front on the second day while travelling the flat terrain of the Netherlands. He added that:
“Even though I had a couple of mishaps which included falling off the saddle twice, overall it was a rewarding experience.”
However, he has said he is now retiring from cycling.
“I think my cycling career is definitely over, but it was for a great cause so I won’t be complaining just don’t make me do it again”
