Vale will shrug off the Plymouth performance for Brentford

Vale boss Micky Adams is trying to put the Plymouth replay to the back of his mind for the time being as Vale have a big game to look forward to on Saturday at Brentford.

Vale drew against the Bees on the opening day of the season and will travel to Griffin Park in a positive frame of mind.

’s side currently sit three points clear of second placed Wolves in League One, but Vale will be going there looking to win the game.Uwe Rösler

Micky said: “We have got an important game against the league leaders Brentford on Saturday and we want to go down there nice and positive.

“We have got to do things better, and if we can’t so things better I have got to speak to Norman and we have got to try and get people in that might be able to do things better, because what I am seeing is awful.

“We have to regroup and quickly recover from the Plymouth game as best we can, work hard this week to try and put things right on the training ground as best we can and we will have to go down there in a positive frame of mind, if we don’t we will get nothing.”
