Vale immediately responded with a second goal as Kapend found Lloyd who drove the ball home from the edge of the area. McGivern then crossed for Campion to get in a header at the far post which was well saved by Arestidou. Morecambe then had their second shot of the game but it was well over the bar into the back of Bycars.thMcGivern was next to go close as a cross was headed back across goal by Lloyd and McGivern’s acrobatic shot flew a yard over the bar.
