Grew looking forward to MK Dons and Rotherham games

Mark Grew is looking forward to Vale’s two games over the Easter period and says Vale can still have a big say in matters at the top end of the table.

Vale travel to Rotherham on Monday to take on a Steve Evans side sitting in the play-off places, but ahead of that, MK Dons are the visitors to Vale Park on Good Friday – kick off 3.00pm.

Grew says: “They are an excellent footballing side and they know that if Peterborough have a little bit of a blip and they come here to try to defend or if they only get a points it won’t do them any good.

“I think they will come here to attack, hoping something goes wrong for Peterborough and they will go for the three points, which will lead to an open game.

“The match is being played on Good Friday and everybody is on holiday, so you would think there would be a party atmosphere on Friday afternoon.

“I am looking forward to it, it will be a bit different. There are big games coming up and I think we will have a great following at Rotherham on Easter Monday.

“We all know what the Rotherham game will be like, it is going to be tight but we have got some good results against them over the past few seasons.”
