Florence Mountford from Burslem has been a lifelong fan of Port Vale and still listens to all the matches on the radio.

Florence turned 90 on the August 24 this year and to celebrate her reaching such a grand age Port Vale's very own Doug Loft and Adam Yates went to visit her at her home.

Yesterday she received part two of her birthday surprise and came for a tour of Vale Park.

We gifted Florence a Port Vale signed cap and she was able to tour Vale Park visiting the Valiant Suite, Directors Lounge and Sponsors Lounge amongst other areas.

Upon entering the changing rooms, Florence met manager Micky Adams and striker Tom Pope.

All of the Vale Family would like to wish Florence the very best and many happy returns.
