One player could possibly go out on loan
Vale are unlikely to bring in any new faces before the transfer window ends tonight, though the possibility hasn’t been completely dismissed.
There may be one player going out, but the manager hasn’t yet made up his mind whether to let winger Ryan Lloyd go out on loan.
Manager Micky Adams said: “We think we have done decent business. We did it early as well so we are not scrambling around looking for players at the back end of the window.
“There have been no enquiries about any of my players, so regardless of what you read in newspapers or hear on the radio, there have been no enquiries about any of my players other than Ryan Lloyd.
“There has been an enquiry about him going out for a month and that is something I will consider this afternoon, but if I do let him go it will be for just a month to let him get a few games.
“We have made a couple of enquiries about a couple of younger players and I have left that with the Chairman. He hasn’t spoke to me to say that he has concluded any sort of deal, so I presume that those deals are dead.
“But we will probably have a look at that scenario at the end of the season rather than in January.”
