Let's get Vale Park rocking again on Saturday against Northampton Town
PACK THE PARK
Let’s Pack the Park – that’s the rallying cry from Chairman Paul Wildes as the Valiants gear up for the crucial home clash against Northampton Town on April 20.
Vale are aiming to beat the League Two attendance record for the season of 13, 251 - set when Plymouth faced Exeter at the end of March – and are offering a ticket incentive for what could be an historic day for all Port Vale fans.
Fans who buy tickets for the fixture against Aidy Boothroyd’s high-flying Northampton side will be able to redeem the price of their ticket against their Season Ticket for 2013/14 by keeping their Northampton ticket – meaning it will be even more cost effective to watch the Valiants next season.
For example, that means that if you buy an adult ticket in the Railway Paddock, you will have a £20 deduction on your Season Ticket for the 13/14 campaign.
This offer is also open to existing Season Ticket Holders who save their ticket. Supporters who pay on the gate will be issued with a special one-off ticket.
The offer is not applicable to corporate memberships or corporate Season Tickets.
“Our fans have been amazing this season and we have witnessed that not only at Vale Park, but also on the road, when our support has often eclipsed that of the home side. I want to reward that loyalty,” said Paul.
“We know we haven’t achieved anything as yet, but Saturday is set to be a pressure cooker atmosphere at Vale Park and we need all of our supporters to back us for what could be the biggest game of the campaign.
“We have already witnessed a bumper attendance against Burton, along with the atmosphere and the positive effect that had on the team’s performance. Let’s do that again and finish what could be a memorable season in style in our final home fixture.”
The club is urging all supporters to buy a ticket in advance, to avoid disruption on the day.
