Diamond is an attacking midfielder, who has joined the Vale on a free transfer from Premier League side Southampton. Diamond started his career with Reading Youth before making the switch over to the Saints. Edwards has featured once during his short time so far at the club, marking his debut with a goal against Salford City in the EFL Trophy.
