We are proud to announce the successful hosting of our inaugural Supporter Advisory Board (SAB) meeting on Monday 13th January.
The event marks a significant step forward in strengthening the relationship between the club and our supporters, paving the way for further collaboration and transparency as we approach our 150th anniversary season.
The meeting at Vale Park provided an opportunity for open dialogue and productive discussions on various aspects of the club’s future. Among the key topics addressed were initial plans to celebrate Vale’s 150th anniversary in 2025/26, including the exciting proposal for a season-long revival of one of our historic crests.
Chief Executive, Matt Hancock, said: “We’re delighted to formally have the Supporter Advisory Board up and running; it was a really productive first meeting with plenty of valuable insights, and one which showed just how passionate and dedicated our supporters are to the future of the club.
“I should stress that the Advisory Board isn’t a closed group and that we’re encouraging members to engage with fellow supporters and other stakeholders to gather feedback on any non-sensitive information, so that we can get a wide range of perspectives from across the supporter base.
“That openness is key to the Advisory Board’s purpose, ensuring that it serves as a bridge between the supporters and the club, and we’re excited to continue working closely with the group."
