We can confirm that our appeal against Ronan Curtis’ red card has been successful.
Our number 11 was sent off following the culmination of Saturday’s fixture against Salford City and was facing a three-game ban for what, at the time, was deemed violent conduct.
Upon reviewing the evidence available to the club, we lodged an appeal to the FA which we have learnt today, has been successful.
Ronan will now be available for selection for our trip to Tranmere Rovers, where the Valiants will be backed by more than 1,600 travelling supporters.

Port Vale’s Ronan Curtis will be available for their next three matches following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal. The midfielder was sent off for violent conduct during the EFL League Two match against Salford City on Saturday 22 February.
