The match officials for our Sky Bet League Two match against Tranmere Rovers have been confirmed.
James Oldham has been selected to take charge of our first home game of the season and will be assisted by Daniel Smith and Anthony Moore.

Since the 2017/2018 season Oldham has been the man in the middle for 161 competitive fixtures with 88 of those taking place in Sky Bet League's One and Two.
The last time he took charge of a Vale game was back in 2022 against Barrow, a 2-1 Vale win, which will be remembered for Aaron Martin's 89th minute winner.
This afternoon's match against Tranmere will be the referee's first game in the EFL this season.
