We can confirm the loan signing of midfielder, Finn Ashworth, from Premier League side, Wolverhampton Wanderers, for the remainder of the season.
Ashworth, 19, has been with Wolves since the age of eight and has risen through the youth ranks before he put pen-to-paper on his first professional deal in the Summer of 2024.
The creative midfielder joins up with Darren Moore’s side to aid his own professional development with extended exposure to a first-team environment.
Speaking of the youngsters’ loan move to Vale Park, Manager, Darren Moore, said:
"Finn is a talented young midfield player who's really caught the eye and we're grateful to Wolves for allowing us to continue his development here at Vale Park.
"It isn't a case of putting him straight into the action; we will give him the time he needs to settle in and hopefully he can play his part for us as we get towards the business end of the season.
"I'm sure he will benefit from being in and around the first-team environment and we're all looking forward to welcoming him in over the coming weeks."
