We can confirm that Connor Ripley has joined Sky Bet League Two side, Swindon Town, on a permanent transfer.
Ripley, 31, joined the Valiants in the summer of 2023 upon the expiry of his contract with Morecambe and has gone on to make 79 appearances across all competitions, keeping 25 clean sheets throughout.
Speaking of Ripley’s transfer to Swindon Town, Vale Manager, Darren Moore, said:
“Connor leaves the club with nothing but our best wishes and we all thank him for his time at Vale Park.
"With him expressing a desire for regular first-team football, we believe that this is the best move for both him and the club.
"Ben Amos has come in recently and made the number one spot his own. He is being pushed and challenged for that position every day by Nathan Broome since his arrival on loan from Swansea City."
