Ben, who has been at Vale Park since Carol and Kevin Shanahan purchased the club in 2019, will be entering the 2024/25 season in a new supporter focussed role that will see him working across commercial, events, venue, retail and ticketing operations.

The new role will give Ben the opportunity to actively engage with supporters across the season to ensure all viewpoints and opinions are listened to and acted upon with feedback already being actioned ahead of our first home game of the season against Tranmere Rovers.

Club Store and Ticketing

During our two pre-season fixtures at Vale Park we were made aware of certain processes in the club store that delayed or prevented supporters being able to purchase merchandise or tickets.

From 1pm until kick off on Saturday (17th August) the store will be focussed on retail sales and ticketing purchases specifically for the Tranmere Rovers fixture, with the ticket windows in the ticket office being reopened on match days as well as tickets continuing to be available in the club store to further reduce queuing and wait times.

Any supporter who requires additional support with their account are being encouraged to visit prior to 1pm on match day or during a day in the week.

To further support this, we will be keeping the store open until 8pm on Friday 16th August to ensure any supporter who is still to collect or download their tickets, as well as still experiencing problems with their e-ticketing account, can receive the additional help or any support they require.

Inside the Stadium

Pies provided by our new supplier Pukka will available in stadium kiosks as well as further tweaks to products available across the stadium which will benefit the club and also supporters.

For those sitting in the Railway Paddock/Stand will notice a new toilet block that has been built during the close season and will also offer baby changing and accessibility facilities.

Supporters will be at the heart of decisions

Supporter feedback taken throughout the season will be used to enhance the experience at Port Vale. In the interview on PVTV Ben labelled the feedback as 'vital' and will be constantly working with various teams across the club to ensure decisions are made with the best interest of Port Vale Football Club and our supporters at the heart of it.

Any supporter wishing to give constructive feedback is encouraged to do so through the Port Vale Supporters Club, via email (enquiries@Port-Vale.co.uk) or social media.
