Supporters have voted Baylee Dipepa as the 2023/24 Young Player of the Year.
17 year-old Baylee Dipepa made an impressive 26 appearances in all competitions in the 2023/24 season, scoring on three occasions.
The 2023/24 season marked a significant breakthrough for Port Vale Academy graduate Baylee Dipepa, who made his senior debut in a 1-0 EFL Trophy victory against Crewe Alexandra.
In January 2024, at just 17 years old, Dipepa signed his first professional contract with the club and went on to make 26 appearances in all competitions. His first senior goal came against Shrewsbury Town in March 2024, making him the second-youngest goalscorer in the club’s history, just behind fellow Academy graduate Jack Shorrock.
March 2024 was a milestone month for Dipepa as he received his first call-up to the England U17 national team. He made a stunning debut, coming off the bench to score twice in a 5-1 victory over Northern Ireland during the UEFA European U17 Championship qualifier at St. George’s Park.
Following his impressive performance, Dipepa was included in the England squad for the 2024 UEFA European U17 Championship, where he continued to shine, scoring in England’s opening group match against France.
