This Sunday (10th September) our Women's First Team start their FA Cup Journey against Coventry City.
The FA Cup fixture follows a resounding 5-0 victory over Leek Town in our first league game of the season last weekend.
Manager Henry Knight said: "I'm really looking forward to Sunday's game, the win last Sunday was a strong team performance and we're looking to build on that in this year's FA Cup.
"It's also an important fixture for us as it allows us to compete for extra prize money which otherwise wouldn't be there and it's another great incentive as we go into the game.
"I've been really proud of how the team have gelled already this season, there's quite a few new faces and the hard work they've all put on the training ground has already shown in pre-season matches and last weekend's league win.
"We're looking forward to welcoming as many Vale fans as possible to the Autonet Insurance Stadium and it's set to be a great tie for both clubs."
