Loyalty Points: An Update

Through discussions with the supporters’ summit and feedback at the supporters' club we have had very constructive conversations regarding how, as a club, we move forward with the loyalty points scheme.

We believe that certain errors, specifically regarding points total, have been rectified, and removed however, some of these included:

  • Additional points labelled ‘event attendance’ appeared on certain accounts, these have now been removed and was due to a system error that has been fixed.
  • Season ticket holders and seasonal hospitality members have experienced fluctuation in loyalty points, particularly home matches and season ticket point total, which have been resolved and this will not impact true totals nor your ability to purchase away tickets.
  • We are aware that a number of supporters when purchasing multiple tickets haven’t been asked who else to allocate the points to. This has been rectified via staff training but we would also encourage all supporters to stipulate at the point of sale who they want points allocated too

Moving forward, whilst nobody has called for the system to be completely removed, there has been a call for change and we are actively looking into how we do this.

There will be continued conversations with the Supporter’s Summit, who will help us to develop the scheme but it was agreed in the interim, that no immediate changes will be made.

Any further updates regarding the current loyalty scheme will be communicated via email and supporter groups.

How are points accumulated?

Season Ticket Holders 125 Points
1876 Membership 30 points
Additional Points
Home Cup Ticket Purchase 5 Points
Away Ticket Purchase 10 Points
Home Ticket Purchase (Non-Season Ticket Holder Only) 5 Points

We would also like to make supporters aware, that this is a priority ticketing scheme and the points do not equate to how valued you are at the club. Our language moving forward will reflect the fact, that this a priority ticketing scheme.
