Port Vale Football Club is delighted to announce that midfielder, Ben Garrity, has signed a new two-year contract extension with the Valiants that will run until the summer of 2025.
The energetic midfielder joined the Vale in the summer of 2021 and played a pivotal part in the club’s promotion back to League One, scoring 12 goals along the way, the most league goals scored by a Port Vale midfielder in almost 30 years, and was deservedly voted for by supporters as your 2021/22 Player of the Season.
Garrity continued to be a stalwart in the Port Vale side throughout the campaign that followed, playing in 37 games across all competitions throughout the 2022/23 season before an unfortunate injury brought his season to an early end.
Speaking of Garrity’s new contract, Director of Football, David Flitcroft said:
“We as a club are delighted to announce the signing of Ben Garrity. The importance of retaining a player and person like Ben is essential to the vision and the progression of the club.

“Ben is someone that we are proud to have represent Port Vale FC and we are excited to continue to work with him to develop even further as a player and as a leader.”
Port Vale Manager, Andy Crosby, said:
