Our annual supporter memorial match will take place on Saturday 6th January 2024 as the Valiants welcome Charlton Athletic to Vale Park.
Prior to kick-off of the match, we, alongside the Official Port Vale Supporters Club will hold a memorial service for anyone with a connection to either club who has passed away over the last 12 months. The service will commence when both teams leave the field of play following their warm-ups, it will be led by our club chaplain, Rev Ashley Cooper and it will culminate with a minute’s silence prior to kick-off.
Our matchday programme will include a special feature to remember the names of supporters, former players and staff who have passed away and during the service the names will appear on our big screen.
If you would like to submit the name of your loved one to be read out at the game, please do so via THIS FORM before 6pm on Wednesday 3rd January 2024.
