McDermott, who has featured in five first team games this season, helped Scott Ruscoe and Matty Done's side to secure a 3-1 win over Chesterfield in the First Round of the FA Youth Cup last month, firing in a wonderful second that has been selected as one of the nine best strikes across Academy football in November.
