Saturday’s League One fixture between Port Vale and Accrington Stanley has been postponed following a pitch inspection by a match official on Friday afternoon.
Following a consistent period of freezing temperatures, parts of the Vale Park pitch have been deemed unplayable, with freezing temperatures forecast for the next 24 hours.
Match tickets purchased for Saturday’s match will remain valid for the rearranged fixture, though refunds can be claimed by emailing ticketoffice@port-vale.co.uk or by visiting the Vale Park Ticket Office in person.
Any pre-purchased iFollow match passes will remain valid for the re-arranged game.
CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Supporters who were planning to drop off gifts for the Port Vale FC Christmas Appeal at Saturday's game should note we will still be accepting donations until 5pm on Tuesday at Vale Park.
Presents can be delivered to the Port Vale FC Main Reception, Port Vale Foundation or the Club Shop.
For supporters wishing to deliver gifts on Saturday, our Club Shop will be open from 9am - 5pm on Saturday and will be accepting Christmas Appeal donations.
